We are delighted to announce that there are now seven scholarships available for the REGENN Research Week. These scholarships will cover €150 of the registration fee, which totals €335. These scholarships are specifically intended for early-career scholars, MA students, or any other applicants who may find the registration fee to be a financial obstacle to their participation. To apply for a scholarship, you can complete the registration form on the REGENN website and include a brief statement explaining your motivation. If you apply for a scholarship, it is expected that you will participate in the entire week. The deadline for registration is December 10th, and you will receive notification about your application by December 14th.
The REGENN Research Week will take place from January 7th to January 11th, 2023, at the former Emmaus monastery in Helvoirt. This event is designed for individuals working on topics related to religion and gender or those who study religion from an intersectional perspective. This includes both junior and senior researchers in theology and religious studies, university lecturers, as well as individuals working in pastoral and spiritual care.
On Wednesday, January 10th, 2024, during the Research Week, Dr. Kim Knibbe will be the keynote speaker from 15:30 to 17:00 CET. She will address the topic of “Religion, Privacy, and Play: Reflections on studying contemporary religion beyond the culture wars.”
***The scholarships for REGENN Research Week are generously provided by the Stichting Catharina Halkes Fonds.
